Background
|

|
Originally started in 1985, the Tudor Dance Group is a non-proft making organisation which has grown steadily, participating in many varied events all over the West Country and beyond! The aim of the group is to promote 16th Century dance and members learn and perform these dances wherever required, from school fetes, fayres, parades, pageants, schools, weddings, etc to historical re-enactments! We have also helped in the making of two historic videos.
Our members age from 6 to 86 and although mainly dancers, non-dancing courtiers, pages, musicians and other members of a Tudor household are also always warmly welcomed - no experience necessary!
